🛡️ 1. Why Are Backups Important?
Backups are your most important safety net, allowing you to restore your data to its previous, healthy state after unexpected data loss or a faulty operation. Every product that includes a backup service is backed up regularly; you can view these backups through the panel and request a restore when needed.
🔑 2. Accessing the Backup Screen
After logging in to the panel, select your virtual server from the "Products and Services" menu. Click the "Backup" tab at the top of the service detail page to reach the "Backup History" screen.
🗂️ 3. Viewing Existing Backups
In the "Backup History" section, your backups are listed with their name and date. There is no separate "success/failure" status; if a backup appears in this list, it means it was created successfully.
📅 4. Backup Frequency and Retention
For every product that includes a backup service, backups are taken automatically every day. Your backups are kept in the system for the last 1 week (7 days); older backups are automatically deleted.
♻️ 5. Restoring a Backup (Restore Request)
To restore a backup, click the "Restore Request" button on that backup's row. A "Are you sure you want to restore this backup?" warning will appear; click "Yes, Continue" to proceed.
⚠️ Important: Once this operation starts, it cannot be undone. When you continue, your current data will be replaced with the selected backup, and your server will be shut down during this process.
Steps followed during the restore process:
1. A support request is created automatically upon your confirmation.
2. For your security, an approval notification is sent to your mobile app.
3. Once you approve the notification from the mobile app, your restore request is forwarded to our team.
4. Your request is processed by our team, and the restore is carried out.
📱 Important: To approve the restore notification, our mobile app must be installed on your phone with notifications enabled. If the app is not installed, you cannot approve the restore request.
